Our Annual match with the County Exec

Each year we hold a fun End of Season event with out Vets committee playing a 9 hole match with the County Executive.

This year the County hosted the event at Gosforth and what a fun day it was - lovely to meet up with old friends and make a few new ones. Our thanks to County Captain, Helen for her organisation.

A lovely warm afternoon

This is a great way for us all to end the golfing season and we were fortunate to play on a lovely sunny, autumn afternoon.

Traditionally, the match ends with a delightful afternoon tea with lots of chat and laughter.

A win for the Vets

The top 5 Stableford points scores from each team are combined to give a total team score. This year was a very close run thing with the Vets having 97 points to the County's 96 so a victory for the Vets. Well done girls!!
